Now that I own him, I have to say he is the single greatest figure I have purchased this year. Fun to transform, the auto-morphing for his head is kinda cool. Love the silver paint on the treads. Head looks great.

Only drawback is the feat not being super poseable, but then again, neither for his G1 counterpart

This fig is amazingly cool. When I first heard about Gen Warpath I was like yeah- another classics fig... but after experiencing it in hand- nice.

Alt mode is okay... I don't mind it. The transformation is simple, but effective. Love the little automorph gimmick.

Bot mode is just awesome- head/face sculpt is perfect in person.
Poseability isn't the greatest- due to the way the forearms and legs/waist are engineered. Also does not have a waist/chest swivel in bot mode- so has to turn to face his targets I suppose.

    Very minor nitpicks:
-Long missile- wonder if Takara version will shorten this? (Easily fixable)
-"Kapow" lettering- don't like that - always seems tacky.

Overall very nice- it is a must buy. period.!!

    Re: Hardhead:
Took apart the head- its not on a ball joint-but if the remould is indeed Hardhead, there is potential to have the headmaster sit in the tank cockpit

Wont it be too large of a head if it was the headmaster figure ( on the supposedly Hardhead repaint) used as a head?
Wanted AM partner Vanguard, Myclones Dirge, G1 Victory Leo, e-hobby Dark scream ( the black version), e-hobby Magnificus
Parts- AM partner Basher-side guns, G1 Actionmaster Elite Windmill's blades[I][B]

Sorry.. I mean to say "stand". The headmaster (if there is one) has to fit.. since the head has to fit within the same width of the hole.
