not sure if it's a defect or just my clumsiness but but one of the braids on Crankcase was far too tight to be pushed back for transformation and has torn a little bit. I'm All grr facey.

Mine doesn't have it. It may be your clumsiness but judging by the number of reports here I wouldn't be surprised.

(also, the struts on the 4 wheels on Crankcase look very fragile, very breakable - so be careful, or have any young kids playing with it be careful)

New defect though - Leader Class Bumblebee... Left knee joint, the grey plastic containing the black ratcheting joint was completely broken in two places in packaging - on both sides of the ratchet. Got a replacement from Walmart, but looked very 'GPS' with its break.
(photo will be posted here later when I get to that one in my queue of travel pics)
Could that breakage be caused by the store/packing after the manufacturing of the toy?

It looks like the tightening of the screw may have done it - perhaps too tight and a flaw in the plastic...

EDIT: My new Megatron is fine. Also, I'm a numbnut; the second gun must have fallen out of the package as I was opening my Powerglide before I'd even noticed it. I did a search and lo it had gone between the couch cushions. All is well.
Hehe funny, exact same thing happened to me. I was so angry until I found it in the couch. Must just be loose in the package

legends and commanders are ok. Some slight paint app issues so choose carefully. Also my megatron silver casing does not match up in truck mode, on slight crooked angle but ever so slight. Lots of gaps with the legends

After watching a video review i realised my skyhammer's mechtech weapon can't lock in place but the one in the video can

also my shockwave's hose cant seem to fit into the hole on his back
