Good news: It uses the 2 pack Buster Prime mold

Bad news: The deco appears to be exactly the same as the regular release of ROTF Leader class Optimus Prime.

WHY? Hasbro isn't doing a leader class Prime this year, so, in theory, there's nothing to stop TakaraTomy from painting this up and then charging some extra money for it (like they did with Buster Prime).

This isn't supposed to be released in Hasbro's DotM line, but if there is enough demand for it by the fans (at BotCon), I'd imagine it would eventually be available in some American store chain or Hasbro's online store within 12 months.
We usually only get what Hasbro US or Hasbro HK get, and this is currently a JP-only item.

Release is mid July... so not long after the movie starts screening.

I'd love for this to be done in the buster Prime deco (with the detailing).

I've recently dug out my Leader Prime from ROTF and it's an excellent mold.

Even though he's got all those cool guns and all, I already have ROTF Leader Class Prime and can't really justify spending about double the amount I spent on him to buy a slightly modified copy with a few add-ons. I think I'm going to just buy the Ultimate Version though less cool-looking because he has an official movie trailer and completely new transformation.
