I've had a 120Gb since it came out and until the other day I hadn't put a single photo, song or video on it. Since my roommate shagged my laptop however I've been using the PS3 to watch all my tv show video files. Fantastic. Only if you're doing something similar will you fill the hard drive, and even then I delete stuff off it I've watched and swap for other files.
The only reason I'll ever fill it is when Sony finally release PlayTV in Australia so I can use my PS3 as a personal video recorder, but again I'll most likely delete files after I've watched them.
well there are a couple of things that have been annoying me about the xbox, dont get me wrong for playing games there is no difference. BUT i will list the things that made me sell my xbox and purchase a ps3.
*The xbox doesnt play BRRip H264 AAC files(MP4)
*you cant copy media to the hard drive
*doesnt have a web Browser
*couldnt get the xbox to stream media from my pc
after using the playstation for a couple of days i find i like the interface better.
probably going to buy PS3 for bluray so i can watch TF bluray
now wait for sale prices for xmas![]()
You can still change drives. Its in an easier to get to place for this reason too. Instructions tell you how to do it as well.
120gig should be enough IMO. I had a mates 40 gig one and it was annoying having ot delete installs to fit more stff on all the time...
Super Street fighter IV coming soon as well. Not an add-on, have to buy the whole game again, although at a cheaper price... Apparenlty has a special something for those who have original and Super.

So many bits of advice to take in, thanks all.
I'd be waiting for Super Street Fighter IV instead of purchasing SFIV (and that's one advantage of waiting).
This is a link to the bravia/ps3 offer.
It started October 22nd, and there are about 15,000 left to claim (from 25,000).
The promo requires you to do a few important things to qualify, but if eligible, you also get a 3 year warranty on the (expensive) TV.
And an interesting promo clip for it:
