    Default KOs found in Australia

I guess this is kinda related, it is a sighting

Picked up a mini KO Fort Max at the cheap (chinese?) shop at parkmore!
    Its so cute!
Kinda like The Fort Max HM junior, havent opened it up yet though.
They also have "Menasor" "Superion" and "Bruticus". But have mixed in technobots and terrorcons.
Odd KOs but go for about $9 each

Moved this post here from the sightings section. Just hoping it doesn't encourage/promote sightings of KOs here, as the occasional sighting could prove useful as a future reference of what had made its way here in the past.

This was at a new toystore called MyToys, which looks to be an asian toy chain that has opened up a store in Brisbane (because it has it's own "generic brand" of toys).

It is also chock full of of counterfeit toys... more fakes than legitimate toys it seemed.
Their selection of Transformers included a box full of these:

At least they were accurate in calling them 'replicas'.
    Terrible colours.

And on the unusual front, I saw these at two different stores last week - legit kids magazines packed with a freebie KO Transformers toy.

This one has a KO Cybertron Brakedown (looks to be the same size, just different colours)

While this one has a KO 2007 Legends Optimus (its about Scout size and has Optimus on the packaging)

There is no way Hasbro would have authorised these, or even approved if they knew of it.
I will ask though to get their opinion.

I saw this today at Coles, I was looking at it for a minute confused before dismissing it and leaving. :/

I saw those magazines a couple of years (yes, years) ago.
The Brakedown came in a few different colours.

I saw that Mania mag the other day too. I thought it was odd having feature on Transformers but selling the mag with a KO. It is in every Coles ive been to and I'm pretty sure I have seen it at the news agents.

So... despite the fact that it is the most recent issue, you managed to see it years ago? :/
Or do you mean the toys?

    The toys, silly. :P

Either that, or I have a time machine.

The kids magazines have a fake transformer in them every few months it seems, they had some Cybertron legends class ones a few months ago in KZone I think.

As for the Mytoys, there used to be a few in Sydney, all opened on short leases and lasted a few months each before closing up shop, sold lots of KO TF's, Ben 10, board games and some radio controlled junk as well.

Just to be clear - I wasn't promoting the store (I didn't even say where to find it)... I was just naming them because of the way they seemed to stock a lot of pirated toys.
They even had their own generic brand of a recent popular plush toy (I think it was Angry Birds), using the same product name on the packaging but with their company name as the prefix.
The board games were just as blatant... monopoly in what looked like authentic packaging, but no company labelling on it at all.
I thought these sort of counterfeits (of current stuff) were more easily enforceable by government agencies. Why wouldn't this sort of store be raided and shut down, or heavily fined, I wonder.
