Transformers Kre-o sets

Looking forward to seeing these.

I wonder if they are compatible with Lego.

It's compatible with Lego... they even had a sticker saying so, on the free Optimus Figurine they gave out at BotCon.

The bricks themselves are the same size, but the distinct difference is that one of the topside posts on the various bricks is hollowed out. (check out the photos of the sets on display, and you see the odd hollow post all over the place)

Apparently only the full head/face helmets are not completely compatible with Lego and other "non lego" lego. They still fit, but take extra effort to remove from lego minifigs.

It is a September wait for an Aussie release (probably a good thing as it is a month or so after the last big toy sale!) I'd love to get some Aussie price point info released to see how they compare to the US, but can't see it happening until just before they go on sale here!

Thanks for those links Sharky, that is the exact info I was after (and too lazy to get!)

Prices are very comparible to the USA, so I no longer have the urge to grab them from ebay early. Now for the patience game...
