Kre-O Optimus packed with BotCon Kreons

It seems that the first release of the Optimus Kre-O sets were packed with the wrong Optimus Kreon. Instead of the regular figure that has the proper chest paint app of the truck-cab, the BotCon exclusive deco of 'the Matrix in an open chest' paint app has been included by mistake.
I think the factory musta painted the advance release ones incorrectly, and Hasbro America is offering to replace them with the correct one... which would probably only be taken up by those who attended BotCon (who already have the rarer version). Because those who aren't fans enough to be interacting online on the major fansites, wouldn't know about the mixup or replacement offer... and those who are fans enough to know but didn't get the BotCon version, would probably prefer to keep the rarer one.

I think that by the time Kre-O has its general release in August/September (including here), this is likely to be fixed and we see the proper version packed in.

I saw this news item on seibertron, about the US Hasbro website store giving away free Kreon figures with some purchases on their site... and saw the example figure being shown - BotCon Optimus.
Fortunately they had a disclaimer to say that the free Kreon is random, but I was just thinking that perhaps this was just Hasbro's way of offloading the returned BotCon Optimus Kreons.
Either that, or they made so many of the 'limited edition' Kreons that they giving them away everywhere.
