I think the tight boxes is a budget thing. they probably save a massive amount scrimping on box size, and then when the tolerancing is on the small side, things don't quite fit.

Mine arrived today with no bending of the spoiler or any of the other defects people have mentioned (well, none that I've found so far).
IMO the yellow eyepatch is not very effective. It doesn't stand out very much; it looks like the manufacturers just forget to paint the left side of his forehead crescent yellow.
The tech specs arrived unbent, but the instructions did not.

It looks like he has pus coming out of his eye. What's that supposed to represent anyway?

It's supposed to be the visor thingy over his eye.
