Default UltraMarginals original collection

Hey there everyone, I took this video ages ago, 28/12/2010 to be precise, and I have just gotten around to reducing it's size and putting it up.

this is my original collection from my younger formative years, starting with skids and thundercracker for Christmas in 1985, I guess, all the way through G1, and some G2. I lived in Country Victoria, so there are a lot of holes in the collection where things never made it to my town, or there wasn't enough money for it.

Please excuse the dust, these guys have been set up like thiss pretty much since we moved into that house, before I came to Sydney to go to Uni in 1997... they have been there ever since, I go home a couple times a year dust off a couple and put them out of the way of the dust. eventually I'll shift it all to my home in Syd, but probably not for a while. some of it has already made it up here, but there is still plenty to come.

I hope the video isn't too big, I have a few photos to post also, but they are pretty big and will have to be uploaded another time.

I hope you like it. the only two that aren't originally from the group are blaster and Kup that I found in a garage sale during first year uni. and a blitzwing I bought to replace the turret on my original blitzwing, so I guess that's 3.

Enjoy there is a higher quality verison but it's over 50 MB ... I'll put it up seperately if anyone wants but I think this vid gets the point across.

That is one fairly sweet collection you've got goin' down there dude, sooo many figures that I'd like to add to my own collection!
From the looks of things too, they seem to be all almost entirely complete; the G2 figures also look quite cool displayed with each other.

A great video-display of your G1-2 collection man, you should consider lobbing it at Youtube.

Everything is complete, I have a baggy with all the unseen weapons, maybe one or two missiles missing but otherwise totally complete.

The Blue background is a dust throw over my first drumkit, it's where I spread them out for the video, you'll not they don't have as much dust as the stuff still on shelves.
Maybe I should look at Utube, I don't think I even have an account ... meh.

Taking the video was the easiest part, just used my panasonic Lumix FZ-28 digital camera.

remembering to post it on the forum however, that can take over a year...

Thanks for checking it out guys.

That's a very nice collection. Yo're so lucky to have all your original toys (and in such great nick too!).

That's a good childhood assortment. Reminds me of my own actually although my numbers were made up of many smaller ones rather than many "big" figures. My childhood collection is sitting in front of me in two storage tubs. I'm inspired to take them out and share too.

I was amused to see your Soundwave has the familiar hunch of a well-loved 80s version.
