I didn't realise that the new "rescan" Rescue Bots vehicles were significantly smaller than the previous vehicles. It explains the cheaper RRP on them, as they've gone from something that's between DLX & VOY size, down to something that's between CMDR & DLX size.
Not as much fun, as it makes them feel cheaper, and less "kiddie".

Image has the first series Bots at the back, the new Rescan bots in the middle, and the 2-pack figurines at the front.

Recieved Generations Whirl from Amazon today... I realise the stickers replicate those of the oringal whirl but having never even seen one of those, I found it interesting that his aircraft registration number has the Australian civil aviation prefix "VH".

Only realized yesterday the new MP Ravage actually has a nose. Not just a huge gap. He looks so much nicer now

    I'd say it's a throwback to G1 Whirl's origins; The VH-64MR Ovelon Gazette

Not really a toy but didn't realise how great the animation is on 'Transformers Cybertron'. Got the Dvd the other day and currently addicted.

I need to do the same, I've not watched it yet

Cool! I guessed it referenced something from the original figure but wasn't sure where to check that out - also thought it might reference the alt mode type (possibly the Japanese designation)... I know the "64" is consistent with the Apache but other than the side mounted engines and sponsons it's all Cobra to my eye. I'm probably trying to read too much into this!!

I never realised how big Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Dinobot II was, I knew he was a deluxe class figure but in my head I always pictured the toy being roughly basic in size. probably due to looking at pictures of it online when I was a kid and the pics were horrible tiny low quality pics, making me think the figure was tiny too, having it in hand now I am actually pleased to see that he is nice and big (well a pretty average deluxe size)

I had no idea about the female characters Shadowstalker & Twirl and their corresponding toys! These characters have turned up in the latest Transformers: Legends comp. I knew about Howlback but did not know the character was female. Always chuffed to find out about characters I did not know about and new figures to covet

I get the feeling the TF Legends game makers are just going through the TFWiki list of Female Transformers and picking ones at random to use in their fembot vs femcon episodes
