It's a pity that the colours of most of these are just too off for fans to want to get this set, even at the cheap $29 price tag.
A green Powerglide? Another black Bumblebee, Sideswipe with red, and a Crowbar with pink? The only one that really works is the Optimus toy in proper red & blue, with black accessories.

There isn't even any mention as to why they are such hideous colours, on the back blurb. At least if the Powerglide was coloured grey & blue like the Ehobby Bad Boy toy, it woulda been something fans woulda jumped on. It just seems like a wasted opportunity to not homage something pre-existing, when it obviously doesn't matter what colour these redecos need to be.

And how one-sided is this set, with just one Decepticon Legion up against 4 Autobots (two Legions and two Commanders).

Despite this set being cheap already (by Australian standards), I'll still recommend getting it if cheap, as these are a more fun size to play with, and some of the paint apps are nice... but as noted above, the colour schemes make this a difficult set to buy if you already have or want to get the ones in proper movie colours.

The paint on Sideswipe could be removed easily enough. The colours for Crowbar work, just not as a police car. Powerglide in green actually makes a lot of real-world sense, if not so much for the character. And none of the repaints are ghastly unlike the other value packs Hasbro's been putting out lately.

It's a definite maybe purchase from me, and would make a great 'jump-off' point for getting a younger kid into TF's.

I'd get that green Powerglide if he were sold individually... especially if he were marketed as a different character (say, movieverse Bad Boy?)

I keep seeing this set shelf warm... meh, no intention on getting it.

If you don't have any of these molds already I'd definitely recommend buying this set, they're all cool little toys. Other wise there's really not enough differences between them and the original versions.

He's (basically) coloured like the original Bad Boy though!

I'd like to see a little love for 'Tailwind' myself...

The head's not particularly pointy on this Powerglide so it wouldn't be impossible to do a good custom.
