    Default Ripped off?

I traded in my games at Gametraders

    Transformers PS2
    Tomb Raider anniversary PS2

    $8

    Xbox 360
    Saints row 2
    Mass effect
    Bioshock
    Bioshock 2
    Fear 2
    GTA IV
    Forza 3
    Transformers DOTM

    $42

In total it was $50 for all 360 and PS2 games. Do you think I should have gotten more from them for all those games? I got more for PS1 games!

What's really bad is they are now going to sell them at only $10 below retail as pre-owned and every sent of that will be profit for them.

your better off selling it on ebay at least if you put in an expected amount of say $15 each and they sell you'd end up with more than just $50 for the lot.

Eb suck for the trading option. A mate of mine bought Battlefield 3, finished it in two weeks and took it back and got, wait for it, $32!! WTF?! I bet they will sell it as a second hand copy for like $80-90 as well. I baulk at some of their secondhand prices.

Sell your games on ebay. It's just better that way.

EB Trade-ins are only worth it if you are putting it towards a preorder. they tend to give a lot more per game and even more if you are a member.

hell the worst place to trade in is still Cash converters ;P

Game Traders generally offer the lowest trade in price partly due to their lower 2nd hand prices and that they are small and poor compared to the big boys.

This is why I never trade games in.

You only get a third of the price that they can sell it for (which they usually tell you is half price - an outright lie most of the time as second hand games sell for usually $10 less than new versions).

Where would you guys recommend to trade/sell games/consoles? Cos I'm seriously thinking about offloading my Wii and all my Wii games.
