    Default IDW's MTMTE #1 preview

The next chapter of the IDW universe begins this week, with the release of the first of two new Transformers ongoing comic books - titled "More than Meets the Eye".

A 7 page preview can be seen here, and check out your comic shops for the full issue later this week.

    So good.

Interestingly, "Liars, A to D" was also the title of James Roberts' comic prologue to Eugenesis from a decade ago. One can read it online here: http://www.transforce.org.uk/strips.htm

    Rigor morphis. Ha!

This seems promising. I hope that I can get into IDW comics again.

I have to admit that it didn't really grab me.

    And the art is, interesting.

TRANSFORMERS: DEICIDE -- The Beast Wars 20th Anniversary Comic Book series that could have been...
TRANSFORMERS: UNITY -- the BotCon 2016 Comic Book that should have been...

I'm assuming this artwork is inspired by Transformers Prime? Just like the start of the ongoing was inspired by the movie?

The Artwork is less than interesting, It won't encourage me to buy it looking like that but at least the storyline is looking promising.

I've decided, with much consideration, not to buy these comics in paper format, but instead to get them from IDW's Comixology app. So far the price is equal to the comic stores, (and gets cheaper if you're patient) plus I can get a further discount by buying iTunes cards on sale. I buy the collected versions as well anyway, so this will save me money and save me space.

Yes, there have been sketches of possible spoilers? Trailbreaker and Siren where the artist explicity said they were going for a Prime or WFC look and feel.

This though isn't what I expected, but I like it. It feels a bit more like Animated to me (which isn't a bad thing). The story is off to a great start here.

I like the art ... It's like going in the direction indeed of TFPrime mixed a bit with Powerpuff/Ben 10.... I like how IDW has taken the story of Tfs in a totally new direction. It's not the geewun we know and are familiar about, finally Megs and Prime are out of the picture so other characters ( and there's a whole slew of em) can shine and new characters can be explored.. so much potential
