Thumbs down Human Alliance Crosshairs review

I'm a bit of a completist, but even so, having the original mold in the form of Human Alliance Basics Thunderhead, I had no desire to get Crosshairs as well. As is turns out, I got it in a larger lot, so what the heck.

As a straight-up repaint of Thunderhead, Crosshairs shares all the same failures. His robot mode is poorly proportioned, with limited articulation and possibility. It has ridiculous arms and hands, which can only be posed palms up.

The vehicle mode is completely nonsensical too - the only way the treads can be positioned is in 4 different directions. One would imagine this would make moving forward rather difficult.

The best of his 3 modes is definitely the exosuit version - a little reminiscent of the suit Sigourney Weaver wears in the climax of James Cameron's Aliens. Sadly, even this has a same palms-up issue that robot mode has, but at least It uses the human alliance figure in an intelligent way.

All in all, Crosshairs is one to avoid, whether you have Thunderhead or not.

I voted yes for the offspring of Sergeant Chaos and Auggie Cahnay.
