Star Wars TFs series 5 packaging revealed
There have been four packaging styles for the Star Wars Transformers toyline over the last 6 years (yellow, then blue, then red, then black). As part of their concept of "keeping the line fresh", the packaging style has been changed to a curved dark blue card-back (and similar slyled/coloured box for the Quad-changer).
Up on the Hasbro site, the first wave of this 5th series has been released for February pre-order.
The three figures in Class 1 (the small size) are all redecos with swapped heads.
Anakin/Clone Wars Jedi Starfighter (previously as Obi Wan)
Obi Wan/Ep3 Jedi Starfighter (previously as Anakin)
Anakin/Clone Wars Y-wing fighter (previously as Clone pilot)
The three figures in Class 2 (the regular size) are all re-released figures
Battle Droid/AAT (first brown version from Series 3 in 2009)
Darth Maul/Sith Infiltrator (from Series 1 in 2006)
Darth Vader/Tie Advanced (from Series 1 in 2005)
And the Class 3 figure is also a re-released figure in new packaging.
Anakin/Darth Vader Quad-changer

The new packaging style has appeared at Kmart here, but just the regular Star Wars toys, not the SWTFs yet. (could be a good sign that they will be here soon)
Although, the new SWTFs series 5 have already been found in America - just Class 1 (small size) figures so far.
