Default Official Pics of Kre-O series 2

Official pics of Devastator and other new Kre-o sets are available.

He has the traditional G1 Devastator head and comes with a Kreon Devastator and Ironhide. And each Constructicon has an individual robot mode with pretty good G1 matching heads. Looks generally pretty decent to me (someone who hasn't got any Kre-O).

There's also a Kre-O Vortex using the new FOC Vortex colours.

I love the Devastator set. He's got a drill for one hand and a wrecking ball for the other. Awesome.

They are certainly getting creative with their playsets and blocks (a bulldog??? why?). The transparent parts could look nice.
And our first redeco - a black Bumblebee. What is with the black Bumblebee toys all the time??? Have we ever had a black Bumblebee in the cartoon or comic?
Note the TFPrime set of Vehicon Kreons... so expect some TFPrime Kre-O sets as well. (and maybe FOC characters too if Vortex is the FOC one, based on those colours)

Pity about TFW watermarking the *official Hasbro images* as if it was their property/images. Hopefully one of the other fansites gets the images from Hasbro as well, without the watermarking (so that I can have clean images in our archives & toy reviews).

Apparently Seibertron have received official images from Hasbro as well, and if they post them up without defacing them, I'll post up their link too.

G1ish heads! What size do you reckon each constructicon would be?

Now that Devestator set looks much better with a real head. Playset is still terrible (and why do we need 3 human Kreons?) but the bulk of the set is Devestator, so that should be alright.

Is the Cliffjumper set a "Prime" set, since the generic cons look like Vehicons. Might be our first set with no larger robot/vehicle mode.

Worst thing about these images is that with Ironhide being in the Devvy set, is that he wont be getting his own set anytime soon.

At least it looks better than the previous pic we saw. Still not something that would interest me.

It's not a redeco. I mean, not in the traditional Transformers sense anyway. You don't need to do that with Kre-o.

Yeah... it's definitely the 1 set out of these new ones that I just straight up don't like. I'm not interested in the Prime and Megatron set but I still think it looks good.

There's also the Barricade (who I didn't recognise as Barricade) and Autotroopers set.

    Ah, you're right - Bumblebee isn't a redeco.
So why bother create a new figure, and then give it a colour it never has on TV or in comics... and then have a yellow BBee Kreon.
Hasbro have pretty much guaranteed that one to be a retail failure - those people not already sick of Bumblebee, or don't yet have one of the previous two versions, aren't going to want a black one.

Devastator is truly clever. And I love Vortex - such a brilliantly random character to select with a fantastically 'accurate' Kre-o head (although his Kreon head is recycled.)
