I've been noticing more and more lately I've had to modify my CHUG toys to get them to function as they should. For instance, I've spent the last 2 days going back and forth filing down the inside of Select Tigertrack's shoulder cannon and then applying clear nail polish inside so the missle fits in just right. I think I'm finally there, but this has been a very annoying process.
The list of toys I've had to modify this year include:
- Earthrise Grapple (I know everyone had to file down the crane pegs)
- Earthrise Ironworks (filing down a 5mm port)
- Studio Series Blitzwing (filing down part of an arm so the wing can sit flush in alt mode)
- Earthrise Snapdragon (filing down cockpit window so it opens easily)
- Selects Hubcap (filing down an arm so it can swivel properly)
- Selects Tigertrack (filing down 5mm port on shoulder cannon, filing down blemish on leg)

That's just the figures I've been able to fix. I've also had to do a few returns on figures this year as well. Maybe I'm becoming less tolerant of such imperfections, maybe the QC has dropped this year or maybe I'm just really unlucky. I hope 2021 is better for me (and others if it's also happening to them).

And yes I am aware of my consumer rights, but I try to avoid resorting to exchanges where I can. My vent is that it's becoming more and more necessary.
That seems incredibly unlucky. The only issues I've had are the Grapple peg holes and My Snapdragon's Headmaster's screw had stripped the thread on the plastic. (A little glue and it was fine).
