Another year, another set of bios that make me roll my eyes.

Except for BW Megatron, who doesn't get a bio; he get's a plot synopsis.

I particularly don't like the line "ARCEE is one of the few female TRANSFORMERS to stand the test of time".

You know what bothers me? The way TRANSFORMERS and GRIMLOCK and ANY OTHER HASBRO NAME thing are in Capitals.

And Arcee's bio going on about her being blue, yet the image is of G1 Arcee.

TBH it is about the standard I expected.

I really hate the way that they have shoehorned the characters into their "Prime" versions to fit the bios.

Glad that there are no joke inductess this time around, and while BW Megatron should win, there will be more than a few votes for Arcee and Wheeljack. SkyByte and Rodimus should do ok as well, they each have their own fan base segment.

Doesn't look like there is a voting screen yet... just an announcement of the nominees.

Every time I read that including the first time I read your post, I read it as "ARCEE is one of the few TRANSFORMERS to stand the test of time", for which I thought - that's okay. You're right - the "female" bit is awful. Particularly since it's Hasbro's doing in the first place that there are so few female characters around who could even have the chance to 'stand the test of time'.

Oh god Rattrap being related to Arcee is canon now.

Anyway, I'll be voting for Sky-Byte a hundred times a day.

So what's the dilly with this Sky-Byte character? Why is he so well loved? Just curious, never heard of him really.

Believe he is from the RiD series. Megatrons crashed ship served as a base on the moon. It was a mash up of dcons and pcons, using bw molds.

    Voting BW Megatron
Otherwise arcee to get a fembot in.

Um... I think your brain made up the moon bit.

Sky-Byte is truly a unique Transformer. He is a poet at heart who writes haikus and sings songs with his own made-up lyrics. He has Lugnut's loyalty and desire to please Megatron, yet always fails miserably. He is a Predacon and hates and is always trying to discredit the Decepticons (Scourge and the Commandos) because Megatron likes them better. Once he did an online 'fish personality test' to help him 'identify his inner fish' that told him he was a 'jellyfish' and tried to disprove it. He believes in horoscopes. Once he held humans hostage but they thought he was a hero who was trying to save them, and so that's what he ended up doing. And so on and so forth. Sky-Byte is just so different to every other Transformer that he is beloved by the fandom who watched Robots In Disguise when it was on. And as such, Sky-Byte is a master of disguise:

    VOTE SKY-BYTE!
