At least Bay managed to capture an 80s look, as the necklace, sunnies and tatts makes it look like a cross between a bent cop and a street thug from a bad 80s cop drama.
But I think he "forgot" that these are "Teenagers" (about 15 in the original series), so it could encourage kids to get tattoos before they are old enough to understand the consequences of them (being permanent but getting them as part of a short-lived fad, and could make it harder to get a job later at a place that requires a specific public image).
