[Ode to a Grasshopper]

Opened him today and...he's actually surprisingly good. The colours aren't that bad in person (robot mode is better than vehicle mode, ironically), aside from the window kibble limiting his arms he has decent articulation, when he's transformed properly he looks pretty good, the small size fits with other Deluxe 'cons, and, well, he's Knockout.
Aside from Hot Shot I've grabbed all of this wave and they've all been worth getting, even at standard retail price. I'm still gonna get someone to make him pretty someday, but he's a good buy as is.

Take Knockout out of the packaging and your presented with a small, yet nicely detailed Aston Martin-esque sports car. The colours are close enough to being show accurate without using metallic paint, although I really hope they do a premium version of this figure like the first Bayverse figures. Obviously it's a shame the rims aren't gold like the bit of detailing on the bonnet but in robot mode (how I imagine most will display him) you don't even see them so I'll let them off on that.

A minute or two later (I'm not kidding) and you'll have him in robot mode. At first I honestly thought this was a pile of crap mainly because of the arms and floppy chest. After a bit of fiddling around with him however, I discovered that it was my mistake as I *gasp* followed the instructions which end up having him like this:

So yeah, I don't know what they were smoking when they did those instructions but it must have been some good stuff.

When the robot mode is transformed PROPERLY it's actually quite an awesome looking toy. I really dig him! He kind of has this jester/King Neptune vibe going on which is quite a unique look. The colours work a lot better in this mode too and he generally just feels nice and solid. The only thing that bugs me is the chest - I really wish it didn't have the two little nubbly bits that 'nearly' join. I think it would have really improved the look of the toy if it was on angle sans the nubbly bits like this:

Overall, pretty happy with this one.

I was foolish and bough knockout. He is tinier than you think, and as doubledealer posted, his arm transformation is entirely wrong and makes an average toy crap. Once you fix his arms and slot his shoulders/head in the correct spot for the hundredth time he looks alright.

Still cannot recommend unless you are a Prime series completionist. Too small bad tf sequence wrong colours terrible weapon and lots of has bro grey.

The errors in the box photo and instructions do make it a tricky first transformation, but once sorted out I think he looks okay. Sure some more paint apps would be nice, but that's the same for all this line.

I do wish I paid $10 for this, I got this from eBay last year, but I'm happy with it as a show cast addition, and more Decepticon sports cars (and medics) are welcome.

Yeah me too. I saw about 8 of them for $10 a pop at Big W on the weekend. Got him about a year ago from BBTS

A rather spindly toy with funny limbs, but I do like his staff and the character is that cool in the cartoon I just had to have him

He's one of those toys you gotta love no matter what because of how awesome the fictional character is.

Aside from the windows on his formarms bumping to stuff limits elbow articualtion, he's a decent figure. The fur coat effect is quite well done in toy form and the arm transformation is clever. But seems like the designer used up all the moving parts to recreate his upper body, the legs practically do nothing..

even though i bought him for $10, sadly, i regret it and the money would have been better spent elsewhere.
