Default Roadbots now knocking off Transformers.

Since the Roadbots toys are/were a legitimate toyline that has been released in stores in this country with their own moulds, seeing them now knocking off Transformers moulds is surprising. More surprising will be if Hasbro allows them into the country as well.

It's an odd move to make, sure it's cheaper to manufacture toys from pre-existing moulds, but surely Hasbro will come down on them like a tonne of bricks?

I saw some smaller scale (closer to BT size) Roadbots the other day at Target Galleria. I didn't pay attention enough to notice colour changes, i think they were just smaller versions of the large toys that were around last year.

The originals were rip-offs of the AT/BT designs anyway. Now they're getting even lazier...

The originals used cars that no alt/bt ever used, and the robots were very different looking and came with weapons. These were acceptable.

But out and out clone copies arn't on.
