custom classics rainmaker: Icestorm

An original creation of mine to complete the trio of Rainmakers, made by putting a KO Starscream's cockpit, head and missiles on to a KO Ramjet body.






Unfortunately his face has lost some of its definition. I might try give him eyes later but it's going to need a real steady hand to do so. As usual for a KO his chest won't close up completely. The Ramjet wingtips also snapped off so I have glued them on to the wings.


I did think about painting his shin guards white but I think his feet and thighs are enough.

Nice mod, the light colours work pretty well against the darker colours of Acid Storm, do you have the other retail seekers? a group shot of all nine would be cool.

indeed this is very good and very viable as well for a genuine toy.
how were you able to paint the cockpit window transparent blue (or was that already part of KO Starscream's build?

Thanks... the cockpit was already blue, which lended itself to this colour scheme.

And who said I had only nine Seekers? (not all are retail, however....)

I like the "Icestorm" name and choice of colours to make him look more distinct from Thundercracker.

Wouldn't snow storm or blizzard storm work better. (just suggestions- icestorm is good though)

KOs actually work quite well with customs. You don't feel guilty.
