Default Takara Prime Arms Micron Breakdown, Knock Out, and Voyager Starscream pics

    Wooh pics, thanks seibertron.com!
Knock Out looks much better...apart from the frigging Minicon ports. Breakdown looks nice, but after Spundwave's stickers not being very sticky I'm inclined hold out for the Hasbro version - if we get one.

Quite happy with FE Screamer, so Voyager 'scream doesn't do much for me.

Breakdown must be mine. I barely notice any out of place ports which is awesome. And the hammer is among one of the more show accurate weapons as far as minicons go (which means a lot to me coz I'm definitely not digging the whole minicon gimmick. Or minicons at all for that matter.) I'm not going to hold out for Hasbro. I can't imagine what POS Mech Tech Hammer they're going to give him as his weapon.

    As for knock out:

    WHAT.
    IS WITH.
    THOSE PORTS?

Ugly as hell IMO. And rims STILL aren't painted? Pass.

SS - I'm with Grasshoppa. FE SS all the way.

The Breakdown mold is fantastic. It's just a shame that the finish on the final product will look nothing like those pictures.

I find Takara's promotional photos are pretty close to what the toys look like IRL. They don't heavily doctor them like Hasbro does, rather they rely more on good photography. Most of the doctoring is done to add more "realistic" effects, like glowing eyes or explosions etc. - but there's a text disclaimer down the bottom.

Aww, Knock-out isn't shiny red after all. I was hoping they'd give him a white face too... they didn't do that either.

That IS disappointing. I was almost planning to buy the JP version because of how the shiny deco suited the character... now I wont worry about it.
