It's the BotCon display, so is a prototype, not a Takara figure.

Well, Takara Shockwave is an Arms Micron toy so he'll have no paint on him. Sooo...

So neither Hasbro nor Tomy would get my money. The whole 'let's use stickers instead of paint apps- It's fun' Sounds like a really dodgy and disguised attempt at cost cutting. Tomy seems to be turning as bad or worse than Hasbro.

If stuff like this continues, I will become an exclusive 3rd party boy in a 3rd party world

All the toys Hasbro have released across all fronts seem to be of noticeably declining quality. I had hoped this was confined to movie line toys like the Avengers and Spiderman which are usually rushed out to be on the shelves with the movie, but it seems like it's going to be everything that drops in quality.

A real shame that they had to make these smaller .. means they now don't fit in with a Classics/Generations/War for Cybertron collection

I will still get them because I am a sucker for the new toys, but I guess we have now seen the end of traditional sized deluxes with the handful that were released under the Prime: First Edition banner.
