Ultra Magnus, Dreadwing, Thundertron, and Skyquake.
Thundertron doesn't look like they've made much progress since Leobreaker. To convert to robot mode: stand the lion up. Reverse the order of these instructions to turn back into a lion. And "Star Seekers"? And that logo?
The other two/three look alright though.
Very nice Skyquake, and Dreadwing. All are very interesting even Thundertron, which offers something different, in the form of a beast mode. Does he belong to a Third faction of Transformers?
I quite like them. The Ultra Magnus is a little thing, but then I guess that's primes style.
Thundertron I'm really fond of, even though it looks as though he'll be pretty much the same as past Lion-bots, the more rounded style of Prime really clicks. It's a snazzy (even if common) colour scheme, too.
Wow. They all look great! Perfect addition to my collection.
Something odd is the absence of Voyager Breakdown. There will be THREE colour versions in Japan (blue, red, black), and yet Hasbro are yet to confirm a single one, and virtually denied it being released at all (at BotCon). So maybe the JP version that comes out in the next few weeks might be worth getting if you want the show character... but get it early, as scalpers will know it will be in high demand too.
We seem to have a lot of TFPrime Autobot toys now, but where are they in the cartoon? Wheeljack seems to be the only non-regular cast member Autobots in the show after 41 episodes... Okay, we've had Cliffjumper, Tailgate and Seaspray, but none of those survived their first story/episode.
Hasbro will have trouble selling toys if most of them aren't being "advertised" in the cartoon.
Thundertron & Starseekers is from the Exiles book, and since TakaraTomy are releasing FOC Shockwave in TFPrime, it just cements the "one continuity" claim by Hasbro.
Completely agree. I for one only collect toys of characters that interest me therefore if there is no supporting story, I'm likely to leave the toy on the shelf. For example, I thought that Skyhammer was a great looking toy (not to mention his alt mode which reminded me of one of my favorite TV shows - Airwolf) but since he never appeared in the movie I found it hard to connect with the character.

Kids and parents won't care. Especially parents. I, for example, loved my Hun-Grrr so much as a kid; despite not having a clue who he was outside of the bio. Same with a lot of G2 toys.
And, really, can't you repurpose figures if you like the figure, but they don't have a current fiction counterpart? I do, except for Animated, pretty much everything I buy I buy because I like it. It either gets repurposed as an old character for my classics collection (if it's not already a part of the series or any of it's spin-offs like the RtS toys, or even movie Bludgeon), or becomes a brand new Classics *insert name here*.
But then this came around, because I haven't latched onto any particular character like some people I know, and would rather not have a couple of movie toys here, and a couple of Prime toys there, I find it easier to do this.
Good to see SOLID confirmation that at least in some parts of the world there will be a release of Ultra Magnus, Dreadwing and Skyquake.
I will now add these to the wish list and remove the Japanese ones that were there as placeholders.
Welp, I want that Skyquake. Will be picking up a Breakdown sometime soon.
The rest...meh.
