Interestingly, the 2-pack only says "New", not "Save" like everything else. I think it might be similar to how TRU says "Hot Price" in other words, not the sale price. IMO.

Yup, been that way in the past too. Especially w/ the Cybertron Legends they somehow scarfed up last year. BigW is pulling TRU dodgies!

EDIT:

I should add that this thread was one of the determinative factors for me deciding to chase that custom Liokaiser. I don't expect much from the sales and I think Animated will only crawl in slowly.

And as I learnt w/ the movie line especially everything shows up at sale price at some point. All I have to learn is a bit of patience and self control.

They also had the 6 original Madman G1 cartoon box sets (you know the silver, purple, darker pink, blue, green & grey ones) for $19.72 each. Pretty damn cheap considering what most of us paid for them 3 or 4 years ago... .

So neither Big W or K-Mart have Animated on sale (aside from the two-pack). Here's hoping for Target to come through. Not that it helps considering I only have Target Country here.
