Default Microns to be released by Hasbro after all

Found in the UK, is a solicitation for the Capsule Microns from Japan, in a blind-pack format. Could just be for the UK though, as this is the first anyone has heard of it.

What are microns exactly? I get the feeling that they're small figures based around prime. Are they the little mini-con partner things for the prime toys?

Similar to Target Masters would be the closest comparison as They all turn into weapons (I think) for the Prime toys.

Micron is the Japanese name for Mini-cons (like the ones from Transformers Armada) the Arms Microns are Mini-cons for the prime line, though they are more like target masters in that they transform from robot (or robotic beast) to a weapon.

Each release of a prime toy in japan has an arms micron with it that turns into that characters weapon (usually) but they also released extra arms microns through capsule machines

hmm not terribly exciting though. Like say if they'd released the Microns that come with the AM figures themselves i'd be all over that...

Also note that they are not featured in the cartoon. It has been an add-on gimmick to the Japanese Prime line that's foregone paint aps and replaced with stickers.
