Default Mark Wahlberg confirmed for Transformers 4 and new TF4 logo

    From Micheal Bay's official blog:

Michael Bay Re-Teams With His ‘Pain & Gain’ Star Mark Wahlberg for Transformers 4

Logo is half Decepticon... wonder if that means anything.

Not that Michael Bay has always been reliable when it comes to details (he said Megatron wasn't coming back for TF2, & a few weeks ago said it was just a rumour that Mark Wahlberg was for TF4), he's now claiming that the movie will be released July 4th 2014.
The link is an interview from TMZ with Michael Bay, which comments on how Shia spoke out against the Director (so did Megan Fox... and now both are replaced), plus says that TF4 will be set four years after the last movie.

The official Paramount site has contradicted Bay with the release date, listing the before-mentioned June 27th date instead. Seibertron appears to have a webmaster access, so has obtained some other info that I couldn't find on the public site.

Bay does interviews in the same way as he directs his films - Chaotic and confusing.

Hey, as long as Wahlberg doesn't treat the Autobots as his new 'funky bunch' or some weird robotic 'Boogie Nights' spinoff, I'm cool with that!

I'm trying not to be a Bay hater, but I can't help but think "Whose fault is it that the franchise needs re-invigorating?"

Ratchet: Hey Optimus what happened to Sam?

Optimus: Dunno, but we have his uncle here. Uncle Mark!

    Uncle Mark: Nononononononnonoono

Ratchet: Ah these humans. They all look the same to me.

I like mark wahlberg and don't have any problems with his casting. I'm wondering if they are going to move the story say 20 years into the future and have wahlberg play a older sam witwicky
