My faith in Hasbro's been shaken since they bailed out on Dark of the Moon Deluxe Soundwave, Leadfoot, Soundwave, Quejack and Mirage/Dino.

I'm glad that I didn't wait around for Hasbro and got the TakaraTOMY versions of them ('cept Mirage/Dino which was never made) at retail prices.
Because in all honesty, I
don't like Arms Microns. The stickers are stupid (although I don't like how Hasbro skipped out on some logo tampographs - I'd rather have stickers over nothing), and the Microns themselves are just rubbish toys IMO (they're more like those crappy little model kits you get with Kabaya candy or chewing gum). Then of course the toys themselves have unsightly ports for their Microns.

I'd much rather ditch the stickers and Microns and have tampographed decos and just regular weapon/accessories. The only reason I get some of the Arms Microns is when there's no Hasbro version, or if I've lost faith in the Hasbro version being released in Australia. I actually had Arms Micron Airachnid on the same order as Smokescreen, but after I managed to find Hasbro Airachnid locally, I bought it and cancelled my Arms Micron order (so now I'm just getting Smokescreen on that order).
I'll take Hasbro's TF Prime figures over TakaraTOMY's any day... all Hasbro has to do is make and release them! Hasbro
might release their own version of Breakdown and Smokescreen later on -- I actually hope they do. No point in putting these characters in the TV show if they're not going to release the toys!

And how awesome would it be if Hasbro's Smokescreen was a whole new mould instead of a retooled unpaint of Knock Out? I wish I could trust Hasbro more, but I'd rather get the TakaraTOMY version now at retail prices (or discounted preorder prices) than gamble on Hasbro in case I "lose out" and have to then hunt down the TakaraTOMY versions later and pay inflated aftermarket prices.
