Also out this week is a one-shot Spotlight - Orion Pax... set 4 million years ago, featuring Alpha Trion (with an alt-mode that looks like the newer batmobile), and Metroplex (as well as a few other interesting appearances).

Griff, could we please get a stickied Spotlight review thread put up since we have a few coming in the next 6 months?

As for the Pax Spotlight, as nice as it was to get a Spotlight that I know helps timefill in some blanks in the Pax-Prime timeline and I'm sure has some interesting tidbits that will be referred to in the ongoings, it was a filler issue at best.

Nothing like mirage, or as wrong as Prowl, but this issue was just not that interesting. Trion was weird and kind of annoying/crazy, but I did like the cape. Bludgeon was a good choice for a villain, the more we see him, the more I think he is pulling some mighty big strings in the RiD book. Otherwise it was a fairly cliché action comic all told to explain the alternate body we saw Pax in in the continuity sinking Spotlight Blurr.

Again, not the worst spotlight, but certainly far from necessary.
