IDW Rage of the Dinobots #2 preview & interview

The second issue of the Transformers Prime - Rage of the Dinobots comic (based on the events after the Fall of Cybertron game) is out this week, and a preview can be seen here... plus an interview with the artist can be seen here.

It's not worth purchasing. Misses bought me the first two issues even after I protested that I didn't want them. They are not terrible but very dull and slow comics that barely correlate to the foc game, tf prime or the exile/exodus books.

Art is okay but this comic reminds me of the booted and uninteresting ongoing from two years ago. It is nowhere the quality or scope of rid or mtmte, not that you should expect it to be as it is a supplementary book that I assume hasbro wanted to be released, or for IDW to try out new artists.

I do wish they'd stop doing story arks to the game in comics. I don't get the comics anymore, but am interested to see what the go is with Grimbo and pals after the end of FOC.

This however isn't likely to make me buy the comic.

I am going to wait for the trade on this one. The art in the preview is nicer though than I expected, despite everyone seeming to have hunchbacks.
