MP10 is in (vehicle-mode) scale with Alternity and most of the Classics Deluxes, and a bit more in scale with Alternators/Binaltech in robot mode. MP01 and 04 are more in vehicle-mode scale with Alternators/Binaltech.

Yes, and no. IIRC MP01 was designed as a stand-alone piece not in scale with anything, with later MPs coming after the fact when HasTakTom realised there was a market for the line. MP10 and all subsequent MPs have been designed as part of a revamped/rebooted line with a more consistent scale, roughly to scale with MP09 Rodimus in robot mode and apparently MP10 as the 'base' scale character. Cost-cutting and money-grubbing doubtless played their part, but there's a bit more to it than that too.
