Also, it's been confirmed that the Takara release will have 2 guns, while the US will only have one - that's a little disappointing since the dual guns is part of his 'look' (for me). Apart from that expect the usual slightly more G1 colouring and chromed thighs.

It'd be super nice if Hastak released a Slammer/Sixgun add on set that integrates with the big guy. Because if they don't, you just know that a 3rd party probably will...

That pic in the Hasbro video makes him look HUGE!!

MP Soundwave is just shorter than his knee!!

His legs are also mistransformed in the Toy Fair display. They have horizontal sliders, which are at the inwards position at the NYTF display, rather than the much better looking outwards position, shown in the Hasbro video with all the toys.

(Speaking of the video, it also contains the beast mode paintjob for the Lazerback redeco, as well as the packaging of deluxe Trailcutter (breaker) That guy has it good, by the looks of it... )

I'm not either. You'd think that with all that plastic at their disposal somebody would've been able to work out a way to fold them into the forearms. If theyre removable, that's just plain lazy. But then, why photograph it like that showing them? Meh, i need a coffee

Just to confuse things further, Robotkingdom has three versions of Metro up for pre-order now, Hasbro ($129), Takara ($169) and an HK-SDCC version ($179), whatever that is...

I'm loving the comparison shots that have been showing up on seibertron.com, especially this latest one:

Not sure which version to get, but I'd love to see All 4 in a line up!

Some of the other recent teaser images being posted up - another with Gen1 Metroplex, and with a couple Legends and Data Discs.
