Wow... I didn't realise Amazon had listed it. And only about 4 weeks away from release.
That should be cheaper than what it will be sold here for, unless there is a sale or clearance later.

150 shipped is a deal. I cannot tell if ordering through BBTS seeing as I already have an item ready forshipping will be cheaper trhough them. At this point I would only have to pay theer pound increase in the package which is a bit more than 8 pounds.

    Hmmm.

As a comparison it'll be USD $110 + $78 USPS shipping from BBTS if you were to buy him only. Shipping weight's 8.4 pounds (3.81kg)
    $130 + $106 EMS shipping from RK.

So that would be USD $155 from Amazon? Which equates to over AU $170. I thought I'd read somewhere that it would be selling for $150 in Oz. Does anyone know if that sounds right or will it be more?

    For anyone wondering...
    Fortress Maximus - 3.5kg
    GEN Metroplex - 2.7kg

A lot lighter, and only a couple centimetres taller (head to head - but 9cm taller if you count the removable shoulder cannons)...

    Biggest Transformers toy Ever? Hardly.

But of course he was going to be lighter. Plastic is stronger/better these days so you need less of it to do the same job. You can hardly expect them to make it heavier just for the sake of it?

And considering that the word 'biggest' relates to size (which is defined by something's dimensions, not its mass), technically Hasbro are right. (I'm not taking into account the total volume of plastic, in which case maybe Fort Max would win??)

Wonder if I'm going to be able to hold out. Always had in my head that I would just wait for this to turn up locally, but now it's so seemingly easily available for pre-order I'm getting twitchy ........

They never said it was going to be the heaviest.

    Geez, G1 fans, calm yourselves.
