Instead of having one massive plastic tray, Hasbro's made a series of smaller plastic 'holders' that parts of Metroplex is twist-tied through to hold the toy in place. These individual holders with the twist ties is what's rattling inside, not the actual toy itself.

It's more than when I tip the box up, I can hear something making its way from one part of the box to the other. It's more of a roll and a clatter than a rattle.

Ah well, will find out in a few hours anyways

Edit: Aha! T'was the missle from Metro's bigass gun!

The missile was loose inside the box for me.

I'd guess that's what it is.

I wonder if someone at the factory made a conscious decision not to secure the missile and let it rattle just to freak out sealed collectors.

Rang again this morning & still no word of a price from Big W. Interesting that they haven't got it listed in their systems yet. So far we've got 3 prices: TRU & Myer $199 Target $179

I haven't seen anything for a long time pointing to Big W getting Metroplex. I'm wondering if Big W has backed out and is not taking it now. Wouldn't be the first time Hasbro has had stores refusing to take product.

Perhaps. They could have pushed the date back on it also, a potential big ticket Christmas item perhaps? I'm only speculating, i'll give them another call next week and check again.
