Default Beast Hunters final season and a movie

From two different sources, a Beast Hunters Movie is to be released towards the end of this year (direct to TV & DVD).
And one of the sources also mentions that this third season of TFPrime, will be the last. (seems like Hasbro doesn't like going beyond 3 seasons with Transformers cartoons)
That report does mention a new cartoon/series for 2014 though, but should be part of the Aligned universe, since Hasbro have been investing quite a bit into that storyline in recent years.

52 is the, "magic number" for most animated series divides into 3 seasons nicely (unsure if tfp tallies up to 52 EPS.) If a series goes longer than 3 seasons its usually successful e.g. spongebob, teen titans and the Simpsons.

There's is some debate on other boards if the new series will follow on with the prime continuity, I think it will but the new movie will probably form part of the series backstory.

Others have been praying for that fourth season of animated. I don't see that happening.

Well, they do still show a lot of Animated on The Hub in America, so maybe?

    That's just wishful think though.

That magical fourth season of Animated would be top of my wish list. Unlikely to happen though.

I thought originally Prime was going to be the start of their long-running series? Or was that just their alluding to the Aligned Universe?

I kind of want to see a massive long running series again, that would take me back, but I can see there would be logistical problems with that in a way in regards to toys and walmart....

I think if tf was just an animated series it would continue, because it's a toyline it has to stay "fresh" and consumer friendly with easy jumping on points
