Acid Storm surprised me. It went from I don't need it, to maybe I want it now.
Soundwave is a must (color of eyes don't matter) for those who missed out on the Takara Tomy version, like me.

Acid Storm is glorious. I hope the green looks like that in real life.

    Soundwave is Soundwave.

Getting all the cassetticons in one cheap hit is a great deal, even if the visor is yellow!

I am always dubious about Hasbro's (and now Takara's) photoshopped images. The real thing always turns out very dull indeed.

Hasbro's digitally doctored photos never lie!

I say kudos to Hasbro for being old skool and staying true to the original!

I personally find TakTOM's digitally enhanced images still aren't nearly as bad as Hasbro's. Like the photography used on MP Soundwave's box... the toy actually looks better IMHO! So much so that I've now stashed Soundwave's box in storage instead of having it on display like my other MP boxes.

Lol, they have Ravage mis-transformed in the official pics:

(they forgot to pull out the nose, leaving a hole in the middle of his face)

Not sure what's up with the tformers post, but the pics on tfw2005 look better. A less eye-gouging shade of green. Overall, I'm digging the green and black scheme.

I've just been spending the last three weeks hassling ToysRUs here for product images of these two, with no luck.
I emailed them, and they replied to tell me to call them. So I did, 5 times over 2 weeks... getting an answering machine each time, asking me to leave my contact details. They called me back only twice of those 5 calls, several hours later when I was at work.
I then emailed them again on Friday to ask what is going on, and why they can't just email me with an answer. (also asking why they didn't want the free publicity)
Monday afternoon while I'm in Melbourne I get a call asking if anyone has gotten back to me yet. (I even told them in the email that I won't be back in Brisbane until Wednesday, so I wouldn't be able to do anything before then)
    Not happy.
(and the phonecall yesterday was just to ask if I wanted my email passed onto a person responsible for boys toys.... gee, what do you think? It was even in the original email. And you thought the stores were run by kids who don't know what they are doing. This is just shocking customer service.)

Now after all this time mucking around, TRU America released their images to fansites. We were first with the news, so it would have been nice to back it up with being first with the images.

I dont think that anyone at TrUs wanted to get in trouble by leaking it and no one you spoke with had the nuts to tell you that. That sucks but still, your breaking info was right :thumbsup

And "Etipsone" (the name currently on the cockpit) is the name of an artist who did some corporate graffiti art for Hasbro HQ.

I agree that TakTOM's photoshop jobs on a whole aren't as bad as Hasbro's but I cannot forget stuff like Creator Primus which, because the packaging is windowless, almost amounted to false advertising
