Default BH Voyager Shockwave & Magnus official pics

From Hasbro through their Facebook page comes official images and bios of two upcoming Beast Hunters Voyager toys - Shockwave (new mould) and Ultra Magnus (reworked Optimus mould).

    Images have been mirrored here.

Probably good that all the orange beast armour can come off Shockwave, if you don't like the look of it.
Bad that Ultra Magnus is just a reworked Optimus toy, instead of reworking the existing Ultra Magnus toy (which didn't get much release in most countries, or even at all).
Not sure why there are so many Ultra Magnus toys in TFPrime, considering it (still) isn't a character (yet) in the cartoon.

Shockwave looks great. Glad those red bits can be removed though. Kinda weird they didn't use the existing Prime Magnus. Lotsa kibble.
Guess we will see these here in 2034.

I can see Shockwave's Beast Armour being thrown away with the packaging. Still very much an anticipated figure. I don't see the need for that Magnus as I have the first one. Strange he gets a redo. i just want to see Beast-ified Megatron Already. I hope he has wings. and the Dark Sabre.

It's interesting to note that, of all the Beast Hunters toys revealed by Hasbro (we currently know 34 action figures already for this year), so far there aren't any Megatron toys. Maybe a hint about something of Season 3 of the cartoon perhaps? The character was mostly absent from Season 1, but we had three Megatron toys from Hasbro during that first year, so for there to be no Megatron toys, is the character being permanently removed early for the focus to be on the Predacons?
It seems strange though, as the name/character of Megatron would sell toys, even if the character was absent... as it didn't stop Hasbro from selling various Movie characters during the second and third movies, that didn't return in them. And with constant re-runs, people would still want toys of the two main leaders.

BH Shockwave looks nice, especially since the orange bits come off. They're extra bits that I'd never use on him for display.

OK, I'm excited for this Shockwave again knowing that the armour bits can be removed. He just doesn't look right with them on.

I like this Magnus better than the first iteration but I think I'll hold off in the hope of a Beast Hunters Prime repaint. Magnus with spindly limbs doesn't look right.

Weird, I feel like I made this post once before. *ponders*

The Shockwave is also nice. Without the armour he looks great and with the armour he looks... sinister.

The Magnus, depending on how he compares to the other Prime Magnus ins size and whatnot, would make a fine Classics Magnus for me.

*nods* It seems that Hasbro realised that having non-removable armour with the early BH figures wasn't such a good idea. This shows that Hasbro's willing to improve on their own efforts, which is a really positive sign and I hope this standard will filter through to Generations and other lines.
