Hell yeah - it's Fortress bleeping Maximus!
Yes, but I already have one
Only if...
Not worth it
Not even interested
Totally worth it! Mine is the one with the smudge paint =( BUT he is totally awesome !
I almost wish I didn't already have a Fort Max toy, as this would be a rather exciting time for any Gen1 fan, or partial Gen1 fan... to get the "flagship" Transformers toy.
I remember how exciting it was to finally own a Fort Max toy (back in 2006), so know how many of you feel, especially those of you who were around in the 80s when it was first released, but could not afford (or justify) the expense of one.
Fortunately for me, it was over 6 years ago when I forked out over a thousand dollars for mine, so I don't feel bad about it at all.
I would however feel bad if a JP Gen1 toy was reissued within a year of buying an expensive original... like Grand Max (which I got only 6 months ago).... which I'm expecting will happen if they still have the mould for the pretender shell. (it could be why Metrotitan never happened, if they didn't have the mould for the micromaster and didn't want to release the set without it)
Yeah I bought a gm less than a year ago. I wouldn't have bought a reissue but it would have been nice to pick up a vintage gm cheaper
Any chance of someone doing a few pics with some WSTs and/or Classicsverse Legends?
There's a whole thread comparing Fortress Maximus (the biggest TF ever) w/ Smallest TF Ravage (the smallest TF ever) here.![]()
Yeah, I saw that but it's not really what I was talking about...FM's whole selling point is that 1: he's big, and 2: he's a good playset. As far as TFs go by all accounts he's not that great, but as a huge interactive base he's apparently pretty decent.
So I kinda wanted to see him showed off as a huge-arse base, and what better way to do that than with the smallest representations of the G1 crew available? They're a bit big in this shot of Metroplex, but they might work better with FM.
