    Default IDW Regen1 #90 preview

Out this week is issue 90 of the Regeneration One comic, signalling the halfway mark of the FINAL ending of the original Marvel comic.

A preview can be seen here

(I love the inclusion of Gen1 characters that got no or little inclusion in the original series, especially in Wildman style)

Interesting, more setup for the big bash that's coming up later than I expected.

The guard on duty with Guzzle? For the first time in Primus knows how long, I can't place a character. Who is he - a Pretender sans his shell? I remember his picture from Dreamwaves MTMTE but cant remember who

It's the Decepticon Ultra Pretender Roadblock. Very obscure.

Ah - knew it was a pretender but could not remember who. I do like the inclusion of obscure characters, was a joy to see Overdrive hooning round as a flying car in a previous issue.

Also I think MTMTE is doing a good job of highlighting obscure characters, both at the forefront such as Tailgate, Pipes, Rewind etc, but also as background characters with amusing quirks such as Jackpot constantly taking bets and Siren doing the announcements on board ship I just wish that the likes of Krok and Jackpot had their Targetmaster partners with them, so much scope for animal sidekicks, but they seem to reserve the concept only for Soundwave and, on occasion, Blaster.
