Put simply, Hasbro ruined a fairly decent toy by making this monstrocity.

This should have been the mould release they do later of a mould, giving it a new head and colour, and making it a new character... as it doesn't feel like Ratchet, even a tiniest bit. Giving it a completely new head and completely resculpted, this toy should have been called Dinobot, and Ratchet should have been released with a Ratchet head and Ratchet colours.

I'll be doing exactly what you said Hasbro should have done Griffin. This will be my Dinobots toy and that's what I'll call him.

I feel this way about quite a few of the BH figures. Typical we have these turning up on our shelves yet so many excellent Generations figures are slated to never reach our shores

I like G2... However I was 10 when it was on sale.

Having sad that, I have bought Ratchet but it will be staying sealed.

With all them swirly bits he looks like he's made of ice-cream. No, frozen yogurt.

Admittedly I only got this coz BBTS was selling Skystalker beast as a three pack with Ratchet and Dreadwing - Ive opened and played with the beast but will keep Ratchet and Dreadwing sealed - they shall end as gifts to my godchild . Im trying to brainwash the kid slowly into collecting TFs hehehe. Started him 4 years ago and everytime I give him a gift on special occasions (bday, Xmas) it's a TF or TF related stuff..... but for me... I don't like this figure at all which is why it's easy for me to just give him away :P
