Exclusivity within Japan I guess.

Does seem kinda daft, but as a completionist but I'd be going mental about now if not for the Asian shops.

That sucks... I know some people in Japan who wanted this toy, but couldn't make it to the Tokyo Toy Show to get one. The one that is sold at the show should have some variation to make it more worthwhile for attendees (even if it's say exclusive piledrivers or something).

I guess if nothing else the convention attendees would have access to a cheaper price (6000JPY (AU$66)).
