They're small Snap together model kits that you can transform by pulling parts off and reattaching certain parts. They come with sticker sheets, sometimes used to dress up entire modes depending on what colour the plstic used is cast and gum.

See this topic, that shows what they have released so far, and how you build them.

A product image has now been released of the set of six smaller combiner figures, showing that there will be two from each combiner team in this set.... BUT.... the packaging suggests that this might be the only set of combiner limbs being released, as each one looks like it might be released in two different colour schemes (one set in red/white/black the other in purple/green/grey) so that each mould can be done in two different colours to be two different characters, with some swapped out parts.

Aerialbots and Stunticons are easy as "cheat" figures, having them as generic jets and cars. But the Combaticons will be trickier, with their different alt-modes. It seems that they managed to blend Vortex and Blastoff into one form, with a few swapped out parts, and Brawl/Swindle is likely to be the same.

This set of six is like the previous two sets of six small combiners, in that the six individual figures can combine into a robot, and possibly into pairs to create three mid-sized robots (like the original Gen1 Landcross).
The smaller figures should also be able to combine with the three larger core figures, like regular combiners.

Figures in this set of six...
    - Vortex & Blastoff
    - Brawl & Swindle?
    - Fireflight (red) & ??? (green)
    - Air Raid (black) & ??? (purple)
    - (Stunticon 1 & 2)
    - (Stunticon 3 & 4)

The odd colours are going to spoil the look of the combined modes with the Core figures revealed in the first posting.

According to TFW, the Gaia Scramble set should indeed be released in two colour versions (which is gonna be tough to get all twelve, if a box only has 10), with alternate parts for each pair of figures.

It also mentions that the pairings are...
    1 Fireflight and Skydive
    2 Air Raid and Slingshot
    3 Dead End and Breakdown
    4 Drag Strip and Wildrider
    5 Vortex and Blast Off
    6 Brawl and Swindle

Awww man, the team leaders look bloody fantastic but the limbs are just hodge podge (in the words of one random tfw2005 member). Really disappointing. Was pretty excited about these too

Defensors limbs were a lot lower in quality than hotspot himself, already expected the same when these 3 bodies were announced... Still getting them though!

The Defensor limbs were great... and pretty much coloured quite closely to the Gen1 toys.
    (from the comparison topic)

    .

These new ones are gonna look really disappointing in combined mode next to Defensor.

Yeh but the protectobot limbs weren't generic twins and they didn't come in a weird assortment of colours. I guess I can't complain too much - these guys are only a few bucks each

What's up with the combiner head on the box as well? Doesn't look like Brut/Superion/Menasor at all.
