    Default Generations Springer forearm problem

so since I got my generations Springer (the voyager triple changer) he's been great, except that one of the green window pieces that end up wrapping around his forearms doesn't fully peg in for some reason, I'm sure fixing it is easy but I just wanted to make sure I know what to do on here before I tried anything since I don't have the money to replace Springer if I brake him
if pics are needed I will upload them later

Just saw something about making sure the head is pushed in properly. Might also be worth a flick through the Springer thread on TFW, I've seen mention of issues with his arm pegging there, but can't recall what solutions were proposed.

Are you talking about robot mode or car mode?

If you are talking robot, had a look at mine and just noticed the window on the right arm doesn't peg in either. Could be some flash around the pin joint of the window piece or tolerance issue, the peg dosen't line up with the slot on the forearm. It's just the friction of the rotation joint that keeps the window from dangling. Maybe get the window piece off and have a look?

ah I should have specified that, I'm talking about Robot mode yeah, hmm.. I might try taking it apart to get a look at it
I'll put pics up either tomorrow or the day after I've just been busy the last couple of days trying to fix my computer and internet connection

The problem lies in the hinge, after reading your post I looked at mine and it has the same problem.its a simple clearance issue..all you need to do is pull the wind screen off, its simple male/female hinge, all you need is a small scalpel or knife and trim the excess piece of plastic. work a treat for me.

heres a pics of the part I trimmed. I hope it helps, its not the best photo, but I did circle the piece to trim.
