MP 20 Wheeljack and 21 Bumblebee

MP 19 (Smokescreen) came out in December

So we have for 2014...
MP 12G (Gen2 Sideswipe) in February
MP 13B (Soundblaster w/ Ratbat) in March
.
then a five month gap
.
MP 20 (Wheeljack) in August
MP 21 (Bumblebee)
MP 22 (allegedly Ultra Magnus)

Since the previous Cassette 2-packs had their own numbers, and we have 19, 20, 21 & 22 noted for this year as Autobots, it doesn't leave much hope for any more cassette 2-packs... or any hope of a Hasbro release of Soundblaster with 5 cassettes (if there was any interest by Hasbro to do one).
With Soundwave being so successful, I'd imagine Soundblaster would be high on the Hasbro agenda, as they managed to successfully sell a "green Starscream" that wasn't even a Gen1 character, so shouldn't have much trouble selling a black Soundwave (who was at least a Gen1 character, just not in America).

There is a second run of Sideswipe coming up too, does that count?

I do wonder if there is any chance of Hasbro picking up a few existing MPs for a run during this period, the second run and revised Sideswipe maybe? Possibly MP11 Starscream? Although they did just do Acidstorm so unlikely i guess (I would buy one though! ).

Sigh... and I was only just talking about Star Saber with Justowen today and I completely forgot to include it in the list.

But yes, that's another one that you'd think "should" be out in 2014, as it appeared to be an Anniversary fan-vote thingy for Japan. (like we had Windblade as ours)

BBTS used to have Wheeljack and Bbee listed as "2nd quarter 2014", which means they are now delayed by at least 2 months... making for a very cramped end of the year if we are to get 4 new moulds from August.

We may have had a record 8 JP MPs released in 2013 (9 if Acid Storm actually got released - it was noted as a pre-order, but I cant find any evidence it actually got released), but after March there was only the one new mould (Prowl/Streak/Smokescreen) for the rest of last year.
2014 is shaping up to be the opposite, with all the new moulds being at the end of the year (except Ratbat, which is more of a new accessory to a redeco anyway).

Arms look a bit to plain in the prototype. I mean he looks good, but shouldn't he have wheels on his upper arm? Rather than that flatness.

Anime Export have good prices and ship fast, however after my last ordeal with them I won't be using them again. They require payment upfront and that shipping date is more than six months away, so I'll wait for HLJ, Amiami or HobbySearch to open their orders.

But that price of 6000 yen I be questioning whether is it rrp price or paying premium? that's definitely bumped up from what Smokescreen was. Not saying I won't pay 6,000 yen.

HLJ is my last line of defence for me, Hobbysearch does well enough most of the times.

It is, and I am aware of that and seeing Anime Ex 6,000 yen price for pre-order, I am uncertain again whether this is self mark up or the new RRP due to the shoulder launcher, due to limited to one character use for the mould, god knows.

Will need to see what hobbysearch and others will list it at, as those will be the prices I will trust.

Was told rrp for smokescreen was the cheapest of the Nissan brothers.

Glad this mp wheeljack is cartoon accurate to what I see. Will be a popular item for sure.

They have at least 2 more uses they could do. Actionmaster Slicer and Diaclone Malbor. And I would buy all 3
