I don't care about electronics, I take the batteries out right away. And I figure if I'm going to be paying $200 I may as well pay a little extra and get the Takara version, apparently he is slightly more G1 accurate in his color tones plus he has an extra gun like G1 Metroplex.

EMS Shipping $107 USD. EMS is the only service they offer, regardless of what you choose
$277 USD = $300 AUD or ~$311 with PayPal
HLJ has him for $168 AUD, i suspect the shipping will be similar

besides, if Myer are listing it at $200, then everyone else will have it listed at or below $160. normally, except maybe TRU.
for normal figures Myer is typically 20% above normal retail, at least that's what I've found in the past. Special items they are even more expensive.

The eHobby Galvatron reissue has one different line from the regular reissue - where the original says デストロン軍団、トランスフォーム！("Desutoron gundan, toransufoomu!": "Decepticons transform!"), the eHobby version says わしの子分にならんのか ("Washi no kobun ni narannoka": "You will be my servant").

Well, I hope not but eh - what can you do?
At least I'll have a flashier paint job & a 2nd whopping great gun for him to wield.

It is possible that down the line, it may be possible to find a very cheap beat up Metroplex at the Parra Fair or some garage sale. Then if you are willing, you could change voice chips.
