ARGH!! Why did they have to make this series finally rock just before they are ending it! I'd watch another few seasons easy after this episode - kick arse fight scene!

Baaah his guns are useless!!UNles it's like a fusion cannon type like Megatron's it's pathetic firepower level. Did you not see how predaking just brushes his blasts off like it was a just lightshow, With the hammer, he aint brushing off that!! He gets brushed off by it!
With the limited resources in the current base of operations Ratchet has, I doubt they can amalgamate an earth based metal to a cybertronian metal head part of the hammer. Not sure if they recovered the hammer actually what with all the throwing around, punches and flying that's happening fast paced.... if they did well Im hoping they can fix it.... even if the handle isn't going to be as sturdy as before.![]()

I'm a bit on a downer with episode actually!
Pros:
- Graphics are better than ever... e.g. Megs and Starscream in the rain at the start. The missus was reading on the iPad next to me, and one of the times she looked up was the scene with the Autobots on the cliff, sun streaming in from behind... she said 'Whoa that's pretty damn good!'. Needless to say, I agreed.
- I liked the character moment for Magnus.
- The fight scene had some very enjoyable sequences, very nice moves showcased, etc... BUT...
Cons:
- It just got too Dragonball Z for me! Predaking looked like he has unlimited hit points, yet can be taken down by hits from the two bots. I mean, it doesn't seem consistent you can be whacked around by Magnus, but then get up after having a mountain dropped on you.
- So looks like we probably won't be getting any show models for the ton of other Predacons we've been seeing in the toys... disappointing yet predictable.
- Predaking's voice feels wrong...
- I'm not liking the overall direction the show seems to be taking, with many of the potential new things being neutralised very quickly. I'm not holding my breath for anything spectacular in the last 4 episodes, but I really hope I will be surprised.

Great action packed episode with equal amounts of character development and intrigue. Fight choreography was amazing.
Without going too much into spoiler territory we finally get to hear a poncy voice and witness the unlikely team of Magnus and Wheeljack throwing down with the big bad beast Wreckers style.
Thoughts?
I liked it a lot,
I loved that the mindless beast is so well spoken in robot mode. loved it.
as much as predaking was beaten up by magnus and wheeljack, I don't think he was any weaker than before, he was bounced around but I don't recall it ever really slowing him down.
Part of their apparent effectiveness would be due to the pair finally fighting as a team.
I have a question, does anyone have any idea if we're going to see anything more than Predaking in Season 3 of Transformers Prime, all these toys we have with no reall associated fiction. it's a bit dissapointing.
Isnt the finale going to be like a two parter movie? mebbe we'll see the other beasts there... if so that's kinda really short exposure there with no real character development at all a sit would be the first and last time they appear.
Unless they're ending TF Prime and picking up from there for another new show - kinda like Beast wars to Beast Machines - though hopefully not as bad a transition.Im guessing the budget for CGI just couldn't be stretched for all the other beasties
...shame

Yeah, from what I have heard/read, the development of a show model involves some real serious work, and therefore I really don't think we're going to see a group of new characters who will only be used for a couple of episodes. In fact, I think this is nigh on impossible to expect. Even new character Magnus, for example, is a 'retool' of an existing model.
The number of character models speaks volumes about the difficulty of creating these... we will have 65 episodes of Prime by the end, and there's a total of about 9 Autobots and 12 Decepticon models, compared to say what 50+ Autobots alone by G1 episode 65??
It is true that there were some 3D models used for the Predacons in the chambers, but these are probably very simple models that are not nearly as hard to create (e.g. only rudimentary movements, definitely no transform). Plus for those they didn't zoom in on, may be even simpler with 2D to 3D trickery.
