It is frustrating when they get so close to great design but fail it. I dislike the goofy head, the overly angry intakes, the wrinkly chest, and the very fat shins.

I feel the same way. Close yet so far.

If it had better colors and a decent head (the new one is better but still kind of crap) then this would be a must buy. Disappointing that they managed to get 95% of this toy right but failed at getting that critical 5% that makes all the difference for me.

I like them, the original 3 coneheads were a basic modification of the seeker mold, they've reproduced that here making modernised versions of all 3 plane types. none of them are vaguely representative of anything in the real world but the original three were a very far stretch as well.

they're just way too much for my budget.(geez I must sound like such a tight arse lately)

nah there are better things to spend your money on like Masterpieces, Metroplex, FP Stunticons, MMC Predacons etc

to me these seekers aren't very innovative and aren't good updates to characters we need from 3Ps

I think I'd rather these seekers over Metroplex actually, however not the other toys you mention.

I actually really like the basic design, I really dig the triangular shapes. However they need to iron out a few bugs, and show me some real pics of the toys before I'm going to decide anything.
