Same text, but now with covers

    Loving the MtMtE covers.

Also the Prime Dinobots trade only collects 4 issues. I hope this is because they have cut it to only be 8 issues long and not a sign of things to come.

I was under the impression that the Dinobots series was ongoing, to end up continuing on where the cartoon ends... and the BotCon panel even talked about it in that manner, because one of the cartoon writers is working on the comic, so wants to keep tying up loose ends.

Now it looks like it is definitely 8 issues... so was it a recent decision to end it after 8 issues?

Seems to be. Last I had heard it was to be ongoing and continuing after Prime concluded, not just focussing on the Dinobots either.

This is the first confirmation it is to be 8 issues, unless it is 8 issues before spinning off to an ongoing? Who knows.

If it is cancelled i wonder if it is a creative team issue (contracts, other job offers etc) or sales based?

From a source at IDW - the Beast Hunters comic is indeed stopping at issue 8, "for now"... which doesn't mean it will definitely come back, but I guess they are just leaving the door open for more if they see the value in it.

Perhaps to tie back into the upcoming series that may be set in the same universe?
