    .
This bit totally baffles me why Hasbro provide such lame paperwork. All this awesomeness and playability and you have to find out how either by trial and error or the Internet!!

And none that can justify the increased price over the Takara version. (I don't know whether development accounts for the difference or not)

Only someone who bought the Hasbro version would say that.

What are peoples thoughts on Ravage?
Compared to Laserbeak & Rumble he just doesnt cut it for me.

Agreed. Generations Ravage is by far the better toy aside from his tiny 'bird-like' head. My biggest gripe with the MP version is how hollow he looks on the reverse side of his cassette mode. Perhaps this was to include his missiles in the transformation but I would have been perfectly OK with them making it a separate accessory. He's definitely the weakest of the MP cassettes.

I like Ravage, just got him out and transformed him today. the design concept of having the nose rotate oiut and become the joining plug between the two sides of his face is great except mine doesn't stay so he has a bit of a split in his head.

The rest of his jaguar/Panther/kitty cat mode is pretty good I like the high level of articulation and the lithe nature of the sculpt. It would be better to have a bit more articulation in the neck/head area, though hard to achieve with this design.

    * Different packaging (Thrilling 30) and instructions. Instructions do not explain any of the accessories, action or interactive features w/ cassettes.
    * Soundwave's visor is yellow instead of red
    * Rumble/Frenzy gun storage panels on feet are unpainted
    * Cut out images for display panel not included
    * Microcassette cases are clear transparent instead of hot pink
    * Laserbeak has a brighter shade of red.
    * Buzzsaw is a brighter yellow instead of amber.
    * Ravage has a different shade of grey.
    * Rumble has a brighter shade of red, and has painted gold decos instead of gold chrome.
    * Frenzy has a brighter shade of purple and blue, and painted silver decos instead of silver chrome.
Doesn't Hasbro Soundwave have that big "CE" white text on one of his legs?

He's definitely the weakest of the bunch. He can still be posed decently though.

Also of note is his foot is not completely painted silver. His "arch" of the foot is just plain grey compared Tak version.

But I really dig him. How could I not? It's Soundwave

But in all seriousness, having his cassettes included is great. Love how their weapons are included in the cassette mode, aside from Rumble/Frenzy. They too are great, and a good update from the originals.
